This Saturday will see the biggest SC2 competition to be hosted in South Africa to date. Polarfluke: Released has swept local SC2 players into a frenzy of excitement, as more than 80 players have already registered for the event. This will certainly be one of the largest tournaments to date with regards to a 1v1 tournament for a strategy title in the country.
The tournament is set to kick off tomorrow afternoon at 15:00, and will feature a huge variety of players from all skill levels. Prizes will be awarded to the players who finish at the top, but what really sets this tournament apart from others is that participants will stand the chance to win a prize, simply for entering and participating in the event.
The tournament structure will start off with group stages, after which it will advance to a single elimination best of 3 scenario. Registrations for the event close Saturday afternoon at 14:00, so if you hurry up you can still book yourself a place to participate in the biggest local SC2 tournament yet.
Interested parties can head over to The Polarfluke website to check out information on the rules, and to register for the event.
