The Kinzu's power
Posted by kOnvict under Bravado on 30 Aug 2010

Is my sens right? Is my mouse pad right? Ahh, i don't know! Yet while it was in my hand I felt the power, that there was power! It took me about 2/3 days to get used to it but once I did, it was amazing! I've only ever played with 3 mice, the kinzu and ikari by steelseries and the mx500 by logitech.

Similar to the microsoft 1.1

Its shape and curves are very similar to the 1.1, the difference often just seems like it was designed in a more appealing way.

Compared?

Compared to the other 2, this is the best mouse I have had in a "long" time. Not only is it attractive, with a mat black finish, its extremely light! You can move it at high speeds with precision. I know I have not gone through a fair share of mice but I believe that when you hold this it, it makes you feel like you have complete control. I mean is that not what we want? It all comes down to agility and pin-point precision. Its got it, I recommend it!

Simply, I give this optical mouse 5 out of 5!

I've used the XAI and Kinzu, both are amazing mice. I can truly recommend both these SS products, possibly the 2 best mice ever made.

I haven't really tried the kinzu but i am using the XAI and from what I experience, its the best mouse ive ever used. The best part is that i didnt have to get used to it because of the simple shape. The only reason im using the laser mouse is because the kinzu doesnt have side buttons

I've got the XAI and it is one of the most incredible pieces of peripheral engineering I've ever experienced. It has a smooth glide over the surface, a very comfortable fit in your hand and with the side buttons to bind I'd recommend it to DotA/HoN players especially.

Only reason I would not try the Kinzu is due to the lack of side buttons, but apart from that I have heard such great things of it, both from local and international players. If the hype is anything to go by, I would highly recommend gamers who don't like sidebuttons on their mouse (and there are a lot of you) to check out the Kinzu.

The software is awesome as well Andrew, like you can program the mouse to keep saved sensitivities and profiles inside the mouse. So when you go to a lan, just program it to your profile (at the back of the mouse with the LCD screen) and GG :D

the shape seems alot like the xai but the optical feel of a mouse is my preferred choice, i might just try it out to draw comparisons between the kinzu and the Xai :D:D

I think the only downfall is that the buttons are hard to click, i wonder if theres any ways to fix that problem. I know in a RTS it can be a problem, not so much in FPS.

Meh careful with the tiny bit of built in acceleration u cant get rid of with the kinzu, but if u dont mind the accel its a awesome mouse, atm i use it at 400dpi and its perfect at that setting

I like my mice big with lasers... xai ftw =D

Avokodo: I also use 400, its perfect for me... Does the accel not get fixed when you edit your registry? I just find it simple and slick but sophisticated enough to be a great mouse...
