This is pre-Alpha footage of a map created by user SgtBarlow. It shows of the NS2 engines fantastic lighting capabilities. This is just a small preview of great things to come - I cant wait to see what type of maps custom mappers will eventually come up with.

The NS2 alpha test goes live for all special edition pre-order holders on July 26 2010.

They haven't implemented the full lighting and shadow features in the engine yet either, or at least not in the build that this video was made with. It is going to look even better in future.

i just hope that all these graphics won't take away from the gameplay, which is what made me fall inlove witht eh original NS
