Bravado CS:GO victorious in the ESEA Main League

The most recent week marked a significant point for Bravado Gaming and its teams. The CS:GO team kicked off the week with a fixture against VBYN in the ESEA Main League. A tough fixture against a familiar opponent saw Bravado claim a 2-0 victory in an end-to-end match.

They surprised us with the VETO, but we came into the game well prepared and had all our protocols in check. - SloWye: CS:GO Captain of Bravado Gaming.

This game sets the team up for a possible 2nd place finish, as they end the season with 9(W) & 2(L) heading into the playoffs with good momentum.

Masoom qualifies for the big event!

The success did not stop there as our FIFA legend Masoom Fakie walked onto the virtual pitch at the Telkom VS Gaming playoffs where he would face off against seven other opponents for a spot at the Comic Con finals. A tactically aware and skillful Masoom got his first win on the board. In the semi-finals, he faced off against Aidan ‘Bobo’ for a spot in the finals. Masoom came out firing as he grabbed an overall win of 5-1, closing the best of three fixtures out in two games. With final event qualification achieved, Masoom went up against Aasim Lamara of Pirates Esports in the final, with the winner taking home R5000 and the top seed. Masoom Fakie managed to wrap it in two games in the much anticipated final, as he brought home the coveted first-place prize.

The Rocket League boys claim back-to-back Regional championships!

A perfect ending to the week’s action saw the Rocket League team kick off their preparation for the Rocket League wildcard world championship in Dallas as they headed into the RLCS Spring Split Regional 3 as reigning champions.

This was the toughest regional yet. We knew Pirates would not want us to become back-to-back champions, so we were prepared for the match. Every goal of every game mattered. It was probably the most intense series I have ever played. - Happymeal: Rocket League Captain of Bravado Gaming.

The team displayed high levels of skill, as they raced to the upper bracket semi-final, eventually taking out ATK 4-2. Eventually reaching the upper bracket final they looked to face their toughest competition yet, Exdee Pirates. A lot was on the line, a $15 000 prize pool along with ultimate supremacy. After an initial 4-1 series win we met the Pirates in the Grand Finals as they made their way from the lower bracket, winning the first set of games 4-3 and forcing a bracket reset. Following an action-packed series that saw all 14 games played out, the Bravado Rocket League squad came out victorious and were crowned back-to-back champions
