Comic Con Wrap-up

The end of September brought with it the much anticipated VS Gaming Finals which were held at the Comic Con festival in Johannesburg. Bravado Gaming was out in full force having had 2 out of the 4 finalists in both the FIFA and the CS: GO Masters finals. After two tightly contested semi-finals, Bravado Gaming’s Masoom Fakie sealed his place for championship Sunday while Ubaid Mahomed went down to Aasim Lamara.

Obviously the goal was to bring home the gold for Bravado, but unfortunately I was not able to. It was a tough final and I know where I made mistakes. Be assured I’ll be back for Fifa 23 ready to go. - Masoom Fakie: FIFA Player for Bravado Gaming.

Soon thereafter, Bravado’s CS team put on a show for the spectators as they defeated Nixuh 2-1 in the winner's final to book their place for Championship Sunday. New signing Ubaid Mahomed sealed a 3rd place finish on Saturday and Bravado Gaming were onto Sunday. Sunday brought with it many highs and lows. While the teams gave it their all, it was not enough to seal the coveted first-place positions. Both Masoom Fakie of the FIFA team and Bravado Gaming’s CS: GO team finished in 2nd place.

After beating Nixuh earlier on, we felt that we were in some good form. Unfortunately there were too many close calls that we missed and we weren’t at our best. - Aaron 'Slowye' Van Der Walt: CS: GO Captain for Bravado Gaming.

Bravado's CS team hit the ground running post Comic Con.

After losing to Blacklaminate 1-2 in the ESEA main playoffs, it was important for Bravado Gaming to bounce back and they certainly did. Back-to-back wins with the second win being a 2-0 victory against VYBN esports put the team back on track.

We knew we had to get off to a good start. Our calls went well and we followed through with our strategies. - Aaron 'Slowye' Van Der Walt: CS: GO Captain for Bravado Gaming.

Bravado MENA continues it's rise to the top.

This week’s action comes to a close with the performance of the Bravado Fortnite squad. Bravado A7mdRqx kicked started this week with a 3rd place finish on Day: 1 of the Elite Cup. Next up was Fahad 'FHD' Yasir. The 1st & 2nd place finishes went to the Bravado duo of FHD and FKS. The talented FHD and his duo raced to a 2nd place finish in the La3eb Cup. FKS earned himself the performance of the week as he brought home a well-deserved first-place finish with his duo. A7mdRqx was not done just yet as he brought home gold, finishing 1st in the BlueRush duo's cup final following a performance that epitomized tactical and mechanical skill at the highest level.

It’s extremely motivating to see the boys build on their success week in and week out. Their hard work continues to show and as we’ve mentioned before, we are just getting started. - Ahmed 'Moose' Mosa'ad: MENA Division Lead for Bravado Gaming.
