Bravado Gaming connect with fans at Rage Expo 2022

Bravado Gaming ended off 2022 with the Rage Expo held at The Gallagher Convention Centre over the 9th, 10th and 11th of December. Besides having multiple teams competing across various titles, Rage 2022 also provided an opportunity for the team to interact with and show its appreciation to the fans. The Bravado CS:GO team kicked off Rage 2022 with a meet and greet on the Intel main stage. A number of fans came through and were able to interact with the players. In addition to this, supporters also received prizes as well as Bravado banners. Bravado Gaming also had a second meet and greet on Sunday, where supporters were able to meet Fortnite Captain Neymar, Tekken Fighter Dax, Fifa Player Ubaid and Papa Capes who is part of the stream team. Bravado Gaming prides itself on connecting with the community. The meet and greets at Rage 2022 did not disappoint and the team looks forward to more connecting in 2023.

Ubaid seals Top 3 at the Mamelodi Sundowns Fifa 23 finals

The Mamelodi Sundowns Fifa 23 finals hosted by Mettlestate headlined Rage 2022 as the biggest Fifa tournament of the year. Eight participants from around the country battled it out for their share of a R200 000 prize pool. After fighting his way through a live qualifier, Bravado Gaming's Ubaid sealed his place at the Rage finals. In his first game, Ubaid showed character and a big match temperament as he closed out the series 2-1, sealing his place in the top 4. In his semi-final fixture, Ubaid went up against Kaylan Moodley. After a tough series that saw many close calls, Ubaid fell short as he went into the 3rd/4th place play-off. In the battle for 3rd place, Ubaid came flying out of the gates as he sealed the series and claimed a top 3 finish.

It was an honour to be part of the event this year and share the stage with so many amazing players. The atmosphere was electric and the crowd was engaging. Unfortunately I was hoping to bring home the cup, but the highlight was representing Bravado Gaming at another major event. This is just the start and in 2023, I'll be back with a bang - Ubaidullah Mahomed: Fifa player for Bravado Gaming.

Dax and Billy place top 3

Bravado Gaming's virtual fighters took to the screens as they went to battle with the country's top fighters at the Rage expo. First up was Faruk aka Dax in the Rage Drive hosted by UGC. After going through his initial competition, Dax found himself in the grand finals where faced off against Callym Beukes. After an end-to-end fight with small margins, Dax finished in 2nd place. Next up was Street Fighter Billy. Billy showed great decision making and was able to implement key combinations as he raced to the top 4. Small margins and close calls were the deciders as Billy finished in 3rd place.

Unfortunately we couldn't bring home first place. Nevertheless, the boys showed character and heart. Both managed to finish in the top 3 and I think this sort of momentum is important going into Redbull Hit The Streets - Tristan 'Zozu' Rens: General manager for Bravado Gaming
Bravado Gaming CS team fly the South African flag high

Bravado Gaming's CS team kicked off their journey in the Intel Masters Finals against Outlaws from Nigeria. The team got off to a flying start as they sealed a 2-0 victory against Outlaws, displaying high levels of mechanical skill and knowledge. The momentum continued as the team sealed a grand final spot after beating 15 Average Gang from Algeria 2-1 in a highly anticipated encounter. The grand finals saw moments that were both high and low. Bravado Gaming's CS team fought hard as they went to battle with 15 Average Gang. After 3 close games, Bravado Gaming finished in 2nd place.

It's never easy falling short. The boys worked extremely hard for this and wanted to bring home the title, but in the end things did not work. We would like to thank the fans for all their support throughout the games. 2023 is going to be a big year and we are more than motivated to go beyond and exceed expectations - Aaron 'Slowye' Van Der Walt: CSGO Captain for Bravado Gaming.
